EXHIBITION OPENING AND VIDEO POSTCARDS FROM CAMBODIAN KIDS
6PM: The Future Light Orphanage was created by Phaly, a survivor of the Pol Pot regime, who has been internationally decorated for her work. FLO is a place of hope and inspiration, crafting self-sustaining adults and future leaders of Cambodia out of poverty. The children leapfrog into the developed world by learning English, Japanese and IT. Simultaneously, they remain integrated in their community and retain their culture. With a lake, a library and an onsite nurse, the children thrive in a nurturing and enabling environment. Our new exhibition at the Art Cafe celebrates that achievement.
At 7.30PM we are screening “VIDEO POSTCARDS”: Short films made by Cambodian kids.
