Kampuchea: Death and Rebirth

This is the long documentary about the massacre between 1975 and 1979. The failure of LON NOL regime backed by the United States of America, on April 17, 7975 gave possibility to the Khmer Rouge of National United Front of Kampuchea to occupy the capital city. They forcefully evacuated the people from the city. The death of more than one million Cambodian people is attributed to the regime of POL POT. Yet IENG THIRITH, a former Minister of Social Affairs of Democratic Kampuchea alleged that Vietnam killed the Cambodian intellectuals. In the survivors ‘opinion, the victory of National Liberation Front for Salvation of Kampuchea supported by the Vietnamese Unit on January 7, 1979 is the liberation which saved their lives.
