This documentary reveals the events in April 17, 1979 when the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh and toppled the Lon Nol regime. Jean Lacouture, a journalist specializing in Indo-China, was a part of those who supported this revolutionary movement, before announcing his errors three later on television. He now returns to talk about the history of Cambodia during that period with archive images.
