This documentary focuses on the seizure of power by Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouges which left the Cambodians in terror between 1975 and 1979. From 1975, the Khmer Rouges decided to clean sweep of past. Schools, universities, banks were closed, money was abolished, cities turned silent and people were forced to the hard labor in the countryside) or sent to the detention center of Tuol Sleng where the interrogations took place.
