Cambodia is a land of broken dreams. There are no more cinema, no more theatre, no more auditorium. The tradition al and popular arts are disappearing faced with the competition of television. But there are always the artistes. Neither wars nor the massacres or the savagery of the “ultra-liberal” economy can not change their faith.
