The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Cambodia (OHCHR) presents a selection of video works raising awareness for pressing social issues. DARKNESS IN THE SUN (45 mins) is the recording of a performance at Phnom Penh's Chenla Theatre in December 2010. Writer/director An Panya and RUFA students illustrate the struggles of a Cambodian family separated by war and trapped in deep poverty. 3 SONGS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS were recorded by Khmer chapei master Kong Nay and rock band "Cambodian Space Project." A 7-minute video gives tribute to human rights defenders from different parts of the world including Cambodia's Venerable Loun Sovath.
