Southeast Asia Studies Curriculum Design Program
Call for Applications

CKS invites applications for the "Southeast Asia Studies Curriculum Design Program." The program aims to provide junior lecturers, or recent graduates from Cambodian universities, with knowledge and skills to design and develop curricula in the social sciences, arts or humanities disciplines within Southeast Asian Studies. The program is structured around lectures, interactive group work and seminars, and will take place in Phnom Penh from July 2 until September 29, 2012.

By the end of the program participants will have gained a fundamental understanding of how to design curricula for the development of Southeast Asian Studies programs and courses. The knowledge and skills gained will help inform and improve standards of teaching and course design at their respective institutions.

Applicants should be Cambodian nationals who are currently employed as university faculty or recent graduates interested in pursuing an academic career in Cambodia. Shortlisted listed candidates will be called for interview.

Applicants should submit the following:
A two page of statement of interest in the program including a chosen social science, arts or humanities discipline.
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
TOEFL score of 400 and above or equivalent.
Evidence of experience of teaching at the university level.
