Celebrate “International Democracy Day” With Forum Syd
The United Nations'(UN) International Day of Democracy is annually held on September 15 to raise public awareness about democracy. "Forum Syd Cambodia" is a Swedish NGO, which works with issues related to human rights and democratization. The aim is to support and encourage organizations in the civil society to be
strong and influential actors in development processes.
Tonight's program includes the screening of the short documentary FEMALE POLITICS (Khmer with English subs, 15 mins) by young filmmaker Chum Sophea and other films about democracy in Cambodia. NGO partners will address the audience.
