10/22-23 CDRI 2012 Development Research Forum Symposium

The theme of the 2012 Development Research Forum Symposium is on "Inclusive Sustainable Development for Cambodia - Regional and National Policy Research Priorities," the fifth annual forum in this series, to be held on 22–23 October 2012 at Hotel Cambodiana, Phnom Penh, with the support of the International Development Research Centre of Canada (IDRC).

The annual DRF symposium brings together around 200 emerging and established development policy researchers, along with government policy makers and representatives of Cambodia's development partners, the broader research community, the private sector and NGOs to share recent research findings, generate critical feedback and discussion, and consider policy implications for Cambodia's future. It is also a unique opportunity for networking.

This year's symposium is organized by the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) in partnership with the Cambodian Economic Association (CEA), National Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), the Learning Institute and the Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC). The programme is structured around the six broad themes of the DRF Phase II's six research interest groups - growth and inclusiveness; governance of natural resources; agricultural development; Cambodia and its region; education and health. This Symposium is by invitation only.
