Watch the best local and international short films at Meta House! Based on a poem by Irish poet Seamus Heaney, BYE CHILD was written and directed by Irish novelist Bernard McClaverty and was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Short Film in 2003.

In DAUGHTER & THE PALMAE BLOSSOMS, Ly Polen tells the story of two lesbian garment workers.
Also screening: Neang Kavich’s SCALE BOY, Sao Sopheak’s TWO FLOWERS AGAINS THE RAIN, YivChhoy’s A BEAUTIFUL HEART, Rithea Phichith’s CHAOS.

Filmmakers will attend.

Also screening: New SE Asian shorts from Myanmar, Philippines and Indonesia. All films with English subs.

Admission: 2 USD. Free for Khmer students.
